This was our first KOA experience and it was pretty much what I expected, except I thought the incoming road would be in better shape. The electric and water connections were located in the very front of the site. I never saw this before and I did have extension cords, but they did offer to loan them to me if my connections were short. I thought that was a nice gesture. Also, I thought the sites were a little cramped, but I would return. By the way, there is nice Italian restaurant a couple of miles away called Elianos.

I took of 1 star for the attitude of the girl in the office when I first called to make the reservation. She seemed to think her time was more important then mine. The roads were pretty bad. Nothing is paved. The place was too much of a dust bowl for my wife. There was pretty much no grass at all. Also, we had a tree that was rotted out, I guess because of termites. I was actually concerned it would fall on my trailer if the winds kicked up. We were there while they were talking about a possible hurricane. When I brought it the attention of the office they said that they knew about it but they were not concerned that it would fall on my trailer. If I wanted, I could leave (with no refund). Make sure you use a filter on the water supply. When I disconnected it I could actually see rust and debris. I suspect it is well water. They gave us a key because the gate closes at 10pm. We came back at least 4 nights after 10pm and it was never locked. On the positive side, sites were big and pretty heavily wooded, especially for that area of the Cape. Other campers that we spoke to were very nice.

The campground is exactly as advertised. No amenities, but a nice and quiet place for adults only. Nice views, very relaxing. It was a treat for us to wake up every morning by a rooster. You can hear the Amish horses on the roads and see animals roaming around on the neighboring farm. This place is in the heart of Amish country. The owners had literature of things to do and helped us plan our day each morning and they gave us the heads up that everything was pretty much closed on Sunday. This helped us plan accordingly. We did not use the bathrooms but our neighbors in a pop-up said that they were amongst the cleanest they have ever seen. I don't have a lot to compare it to because this was only our second trip, but I took off one star because I felt the sites were small for a place surrounded by huge farmlands, however, we would go back again if we could pick our site.
